| At every turn I discovered a new, cozy and interesting place to dine. I wanted to spend more time here exploring the wall hangings and chatting with the staff, but I was illegally parked and had to rush off. I'll be back. The next time, I'll stay a while. The first floor alone, could keep me intrigued for an hour or more just with the furnishings. The menu is a real eye opener too. It gives a whole new perspective on the historicity of British cuisine. Here there is a twist from the deep south to its Sourdough Pretzels. | ![]() |

| I've been so wrapped up in what a nice restaurant Churchill's Pub is that I almost forgot about the actual BAR. It's incredible. It's a huge, highly polished antique the likes of which one seldom sees in these days of prefabrication and mass production. The dark wood photographed better on Churchill's home page than on this one. Click on either picture and it will take you there. There is yet another nice surprise at Churchill's. They have a cellar on the roof. Yep, another bar upstairs for those who crave the night air - or the afternoon sunshine. |

| The, uh, "roof top terrace," is a full service dining room out under the stars or the sunny (one would hope) blue sky. A wide variety of beers, ales, wines and liquors is available to the connoisseur while he or she enjoys the many events hosted by Churchill's Pub. And don't forget, if you are downtown in Savannah on October 25, this will be a good place to toast Henry's famous victory, flipping birds at the French in 1415.
