Welcome to the Liberty

Liberty means many things to many people. It's a

celebration of the great American Farmer and the rich

bounty he puts on our tables. It's a celebration of America's

Melting Pot of rich ethnic cooking styles. It's a celebration

of the resurgence of the "Hand-Crafted Brewing" style of

the pre-prohibition, small, American Brewery. It's a

celebration of Life, Family and the Pursuit of Happiness.

So bring us your hungry, your thirsty and your fun-loving

and we'll send you home refreshed and fulfilled. And don't

forget to bring your middle finger to the birthday party on

October 25.

The Liberty Tap Room, on the corner on

Gervais and Lincoln Streets is historic. The

facility is so attractively laid out that I didn't

want to leave. The highly polished wood

interior is complimented with interesting and

fun art work, but wait till you see its menu!

Beers available at the Liberty Tap Room:

Each locale has unique beer selections. Some of these, above, are long

time, nationwide, favorites. But I can see, I'm going to have to go back to

Columbia South Carolina so I can find out what "Stones Arrogant Bastard"

is like. Young's Double Chocolate sounds interesting, too.

With a gorgeous bar, lots of dining space inside and outside, this is a

spectacular place to celebrate Henry V's victory at the Battle of Agincourt

October 25, 1415 and the first time the single digit salute was ever used

without vulgarity. A nice thing about Columbia South Carolina is the fact

that there are smiling faces, everywhere!
