Nobby's is a classic neighborhood tavern with parking for around a hundred fifty motorcycles or about fifty automobiles.  The rotunda entrance highlights the brick patio.  Soon there will be a larger outside covered deck.  Dave has plans for this place.  This is the hottest tavern on Anastasia Boulevard

Nobby's is a special kind of place.  I bump into friends who stop me and say things like, "Geez.  I was at Nobby's last night and let me tell you what happened!"

Nobby was a good ole boy who made the best Buffalo Wings on Earth (and maybe Venus and Mars as well).  Now he's making them for St. Peter and his son Dave makes them for us, sometimes.

Dave tells me he doesn't have a menu at the moment, but that might change soon.  At the present, he provides special food for special occasions.  That can range widely from pulled pork Barbecue to oyster roasts, served on the patio if you wish, next to the fireplace.

(The old Sand Fire Lounge has come a long way, baby!)

Nobby's specializes in good times and live music.  When the band isn't there, though, Dave Parks his Harley on the band stand (Below).

The inside bar, supported by Apple Jack Kegs, forms sort of a 'Z' in one corner of the room. Tables for dining fill in where the pool tables leave off.

If you want to put a little English on your balls here, remember St. Augustine was once an English Settlement, where that expression may have actually originated.

Dave tells me this Harley motorcycle is for sale but he didn't mention how much he's asking for it.  If you want to find out, call him.  The number is on the sign (top left).

You never know who you might meet at Nobby's!  The miscreants to the right are real pirates taking shore leave from the Black Raven, a pirate ship that is presently riding dockside at the City Pier. The constables would take them, if only they had the courage.

Don't forget to read Aunty Mullah's eye witness account of the birth of the bird.

It looks like Dave (left) is having a surreal moment as he warms up for the next Middle Finger Birthday Party event at Nobby's Tavern.

The woman to the right isn't really there.  I thought I saw her once after eating too many hot buffalo wings.  That's why I keep wanting to go back and eat more of them.  I wonder if I'd see the same images after eating too much barbecued, pulled pork?

Keep an eye on this page.  As soon as Dave gets one, the menu will be posted here.

And don't forget to bring your middle finger and
